The Small Press is nomadic by nature and has since 2006 facilitated the production, exploration and experimentation of print based processes within contemporary art and design practice.
Working closely with galleries and artists the Small Press continues to foster both a conventional and unconventional approach to the education and dissemination of printed matter and involves the combination of analogue and digital techniques to produce posters, objects, books and small run limited edition works.
The Small Press is Lesley Sharpe who graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1997. She currently co-ordinates and incorporates projects with artists into the teaching and learning experience at UAL providing a mutually beneficial exchange of resources as well as develop her own practice.
Recent artists include Daniel Sinsel and Nicholas Byrne commissioned by the ICA.
